Brilliant young Russian violinist performs Dvorak

“Gripping and assured… she plays at white heat”.  This is how Russian violinist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny was described by BBC critic Jessica Duchen.

The concert opens with Weber’s Der Freischutz Overture followed by a rare opportunity to hear Dvorak’s unjustly-neglected violin concerto performed by the brilliant Russian violinist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny

The evening conducted by Timothy Henty concludes with Beethoven’s best-loved Fifth Symphony to mark the 250th anniversary of his birth.
