A Tribute to Heroism
Beethoven’s monumental Third Symphony—originally dedicated to Napoleon—was later retitled Eroica – a tribute to heroism. Bold and groundbreaking, it remains one of his most celebrated works. Paired with Dvorák’s Violin Concerto, rich in folk-inspired melodies and dazzling virtuosity, this programme offers a stirring exploration of courage and character through music.
