Michael Badminton Young Musicians Trust

The Michael Badminton Young Musicians Trust for young players in Norfolk was established in 1998 by the late Michael Badminton.

The trust promotes the Norfolk Young Musician Competition and supports young string players in Norfolk with tuition costs, loans of instruments and assistance to attend courses in the UK and abroad.

Norfolk Young Musician Competition 2018

Norfolk Young Musician – 1st Prize £200  2nd Prize £150  3rd Prize £100
Badminton Prize for promising string player – £150
Mrs E Sturgeon Prize for promising young pianist – £150
Norfolk & Norwich Chamber Music Prize for promising wind player – £150

Free entrance for audience to come and go from 10am to hear sixteen competitors
Results will be announced at 5pm
